Jen made me jealous when she told me she's taking a cruise for Spring Break. To Mexico! So I whimpered and whined and managed to talk John into booking a trip in April! Since he adamantly refused to consider a cruise, we agreed to go to wherever had the cheapest plane fare...which turned out to be Washington DC.
Luckily, DC is on my list of places to visit and since I wanted to go during the Cherry Blossom Festival, April 2-7 worked perfectly! The trees should be in bloom! We're going to the Smithsonian, Union Station and Mount Vernon, and I'm happily researching other places we can visit while we're there. I almost have more fun PLANNING a trip than actually going on it!
